Meditations
There are four main meditations which are practiced in arhatic yoga. The first one is Meditation on Twin Hearts which can be practiced by non-arhatic yogis either. Three other meditations that are exclusively for arhatic yogis, are Arhatic Meditation on The Higher Soul, Arhatic Dhyan Meditation, and Arhatic Kundalini Meditation.
Meditation on Twin Hearts
The Meditation on Twin Hearts is a meditation on Loving Kindness. The Meditation works by activating the heart chakra and crown chakra to bless the earth with loving-kindness, peace and goodwill.
Meditation On Twin Hearts is based on the principle that some of the major energy centers/chakras are entry points/gateways to certain levels or horizons of consciousness. The Twin Hearts pertain to the heart and crown energy centers.
The heart chakra is an energy center in front of a person’s chest. It is the energy counterpart to the physical heart. The heart chakra is the center for compassion, joy, affection, consideration, mercy, and other higher refined emotions.
The crown energy center (also called the spiritual heart) is located on the top of the head and is the entry point to higher spiritual consciousness. To achieve illumination or cosmic consciousness, it is necessary to sufficiently activate the crown chakra. This can be done only when the heart chakra is sufficiently activated. Only by developing the higher refined emotions can one possibly experience divine love. When the crown center is highly developed, one experiences Divine Love and Oneness with All.
Blessing the earth with loving-kindness, peace and goodwill during the Meditation on Twin Hearts can be done by a group as a form of world service. The effectiveness of the blessings is magnified many times more when done as a group rather than as an individual.
Meditation on The Higher Soul
Guided by Master Choa Kok Sui The Meditation on the Blue Pearl, also known as Meditation on the Higher Soul, is a standard technique used by different masters of different esoteric schools in training spiritual disciples. It is a synthesis of ancient meditation techniques kept secret for centuries and revealed only to a few disciples.
The meditation allows the practitioner to accelerate the union of the Incarnated Soul (the Lower Self) with the Higher Soul (Higher Self). This phenomenon is known as “Soul Realization”. Soul Realization is nothing more than the Incarnated Soul realizing that it is not the body and it is one with the Higher Soul. This is the meaning of yoga and illumination.
Experience bliss, expansion of consciousness and awareness, and Increase the connection between your Higher Soul and incarnated soul by practicing this meditation regularly.
